Terms of Service

Terms of Service for GodotLabs
Mar 22, 2026

Overview

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the GodotLabs website, products, documentation, source code access, and related services.

By accessing the site, creating an account, or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The Service

GodotLabs provides digital technical learning products for Godot developers. These may include course materials, written documentation, source code access, downloadable assets, and related product support.

We may update, improve, replace, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

Accounts

You may need an account to access some parts of the service.

You agree to:

  • provide accurate account information
  • keep your login credentials secure
  • remain responsible for activity under your account
  • notify us promptly of unauthorized access or security issues

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create security, legal, or operational risk.

Purchases and Product Access

When you purchase a GodotLabs product, you are purchasing access to the product as described at the time of sale. Product delivery may include account-based access, documentation access, repository invitations, email delivery, or other digital fulfillment methods.

Unless otherwise stated, purchases are for your own use and subject to these Terms.

License and Permitted Use

Unless otherwise stated for a specific product, GodotLabs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use purchased materials for your own personal or internal commercial development use.

You may generally use purchased materials to study, learn from, and build your own projects, subject to any product-specific license terms.

You may not, unless explicitly permitted in writing:

  • resell, sublicense, or redistribute the purchased product as a competing product
  • share private product access with unauthorized users
  • publicly mirror or republish private repositories, paid docs, or restricted materials
  • remove license, copyright, or attribution notices where required
  • use the service in violation of law or third-party rights

Intellectual Property

GodotLabs and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the website, branding, documentation, course materials, source code provided by GodotLabs, and related content, except where a separate license explicitly says otherwise.

You retain ownership of your own projects, modifications, and original work you create, subject to the license terms attached to the purchased materials.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • attempt unauthorized access to the service or other user accounts
  • interfere with site security or service integrity
  • use automation or scraping in a way that harms the service
  • upload or distribute malicious code
  • abuse support channels or product access systems

Product Scope and Updates

GodotLabs may update products over time, but we do not guarantee any specific roadmap, feature set, update schedule, or future addition unless explicitly promised in writing.

Descriptions on the website explain the current scope of the product, not a guarantee of every future feature request.

Refunds

Because GodotLabs sells digital products, purchases are generally final unless otherwise required by law or explicitly stated at the time of sale.

If you believe there was a billing error or access problem, contact support and we will review the issue.

Third-Party Services

Parts of the service may depend on third-party providers such as payment processors, email providers, hosting services, analytics tools, or GitHub. We are not responsible for downtime, policy changes, or failures caused by third-party services.

Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

GodotLabs does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every project, production workflow, or business purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GodotLabs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of GodotLabs for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to GodotLabs for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, create legal risk, or misuse paid access.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and other similar provisions.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
